I'm really into a local writer named Aaron Cometbus. He started a fanzine in 1981 called "Rip it up." These are stories about the bay area, fiction, and anything entertaining. One issue talked about how to not be bored in the city, which bart route has the most heroin addicts, all of the above. John Catrona, one of the main contributors to Sic literary magazine, was one of the main contributors to Cometbus' fanzine. He continues the bizarre and funny tradition that Cometbus started and takes a step further. It's fun, interesting, and you get to learn weirs, useless facts and stories about this city that we love.
