Respone to "Pet Milk"

Tim said that it was a part of the experience of being new to the city. Going to see a movie late a night, not realizing the buses stop running at midnight. We weren't freshmen, but it was our first year here. Well Laura was. All of our friends are freshmen for some reason. Tim said he walked all the way back to campus, but the three of us got a cab and split the fare. At first we tried to hitch-hike, drunkenly screaming obscenities at the cars that would not stop for us. We brought a bottle of cheap wine and some jager into the theater and left the empty bottles behind us. It was foggy at two o'clock in the morning and I was wearing my favorite sweatshirt. I just wanted to walk home to make the night last as long as possible. The taxi ride was quiet. The presence of the taxi driver made us feel a little less boisterous.

  1. "The taxi ride was quiet. The presence of the taxi driver made us feel a little less boisterous." A third party interruption, never lets a moment feel quite the same...great commentary about the experience.
